J.P. and Frances Wood were honored on their 60th Wedding Anniversary by a "SURPRISE" celebration at Cool Springs Baptist Church on Saturday, July 24th, 2010. The good folks at Cool Springs put on a good spread and many guests came. What a wonderful time.   CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION FOR BERLIN BAPTIST CHURCH

Dear Christian Friends,

You are cordially invited to help us celebrate our 100th Anniversary on Saturday, September 11th and Sunday, September 12th, 2010.

Some members of Hempstead Baptist Church, which was about two miles southeast of Berlin, helped organize Berlin Baptist Church. The Methodists shared their building with us and services were also held under a brush arbor. God blessed their humble efforts and a church was built and constituted during the latter part of 1910 in the growing town of Berlin, Georgia.

Many of you have been such a vital part of the ministry and we are looking forward to seeing you. We hope and pray you can share a day or both days with us. Keep us in your prayers and we will also remember you.

In His Service,

Dr. S.C. Billingsley
