WHAT IS “CHRISTMAS BACKPACKS”

CHRISTMAS BACKPACKS is a ministry effort lead by Appalachian Mountain Ministry (AMM) which is a ministry of the Georgia Baptist Mission Board and works in partnership with WMU (Women’s  Missionary Union).  CHRISTMAS BACKPACKS is a ministry focus where Southern Baptists are making a difference in the lives of children living in poverty. 2018 CCBA CHRISTMAS BACKPACK PROJECT:

OUR GOAL:    The Colquitt County Baptist Association has adopted two ministry sites this year in Morganton and Blue Ridge, Georgia. We are committed to provide 330 Christmas Backpacks.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:  If your church would like to help fill backpacks, please contact our office at 985-1168. You can purchase your own backpacks or we have backpacks available at the Missions Center for a donation of $3 each. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to purchase your own backpacks to fill, we ask that you still contact our office so we can register them with the GBMB.

DEADLINE:  Filled backpacks can be brought to the Annual Meeting at Kingwood Baptist Church on October 23 OR brought to the Missions Center no later than November 1.
